Job Description

Seeking an experienced ELA Assessment Author to develop and review assessment items aligned with state standards for grades 3-8 and High School English I.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and review AI-generated and SME-authored ELA assessment items and passages
  • Evaluate assessment items for content accuracy and alignment to state standards
  • Adhere to client writing guidelines for assessment items
  • Author original assessment items as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise as an ELA Subject Matter Expert
  • Demonstrated experience in authoring assessment items
  • Strong understanding of Depth of Knowledge levels
  • Familiarity with various question types
